TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA - Semakin berkembangnya zaman, semakin kompleks pula tantangan orang tua dalam mengasuh buah hatinya.
Alih-alih "menolak", ada baiknya orang tua menyesuaikan pola asuhnya sesuai perkembangan zaman namun dalam koridor yang bisa dipertanggungjawabkan.
Pesan inilah yang mengemuka dalam ajang Jakarta Kids Festival (JKF) 2013 yang digelar oleh Femina Group di Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta, pada 22-24 November 2013.
"Pemahaman tersebut mengantarkan kami untuk merumuskan enam tren pola asuh yang harus disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Tren-tren itulah yang kami angkat di acara ini," ujar Ketua Umum JKF Baslir Djamal saat jumpa pers, Kamis (22/11/2013).
Tren yang dimaksud antara lain tren nutrisi, pendidikan, pembelajaran, kesehatan dan olahraga, mode, dan pengasuhan.
Keenam tren tersebut dipresentasikan ke dalam rupa aktivitas bermain dan seminar yang dikemas dalam tema menarik.
Salah satunya Grow Health Foodie. Tema ini mencoba mencari mencari solusi pengenalan pola makan sehat berikut makanannya yang selama ini menjadi problema tersendiri bagi orang tua di tengah maraknya junk food.
Kecenderungan anak yang jarang bergerak (sedentary) karena terpaku dengan gadget, JKF mencoba menjawabnya dengan tema Let's Move and Play.
Tema-tema lainnya yaitu Get Your Child Ready for 2030 (edukasi), Children Learb Best from the Experience (pembelajaran), It's Ok to be Different (mode), dan C is for Colaboration (pengasuhan anak).
Selain seminar dan aktivitas, JFK juga menggelar bazaar keperluan si kecil dan menghadirkan stan sekolah-sekolah.
Dengan total 11 semimar anak dan puluhan kegiatan bermain, Baslir berharap ajang ini dapat menjawab tantangan orang tua mengasuh anak di tengah perubahan zaman yang begitu cepat.
