TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Gaon Chart Music Awards ke-11 berlangsung pada Kamis, 27 Januari 2022 di Jamsil Arena.

Ajang penghargaan tersebut dipandu oleh JaeJae, Sieun STAYC, dan Doyoung NCT.

Gaon Chart Music Awards terutama didasarkan pada penampilan komersial lagu dan album berdasarkan Gaon Music Chart nasional.

Artist of the Year dibagi menjadi kategori musik digital dan album fisik.

Penghargaan musik digital diberikan kepada lagu dengan jumlah unduhan dan streaming digital tertinggi untuk setiap bulan dari Desember 2020 hingga November 2021.

Penghargaan album fisik diberikan kepada album dengan penjualan tertinggi untuk setiap kuartal selama periode yang sama.

Tahun ini, penyanyi solo IU dan grup idol BTS memborong penghargaan.

Gaon Awards 2022 memberikan penghargaan International Song of the Year kepada Justin Bieber’s untuk lagu Peaches.
