TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Aktor Eddie Murphy membuat lelucon soal tamparan Will Smith di Golden Globes 2023.
Eddie Murphy meraih penghargaan pencapaian seumur hidup di ajang penghargaan TV dan film yang digelar Selasa (10/1/2023).
"Saya ingin memberi tahu Anda bahwa ada cetak biru definitif yang dapat Anda ikuti untuk mencapai kesuksesan, kemakmuran, umur panjang. Lakukan saja tiga hal ini,” kata Murphy kepada hadirin seperti dilansir The Independent.
“Satu, bayar pajakmu. Dua, urus urusanmu sendiri. Tiga, jangan sebut-sebut nama istri Will Smith!”
Pada acara Piala Oscar 2022 lalu, Will Smith menampar Chris Rock karena host itu membuat lelucon tentang istrinya, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Sejak kejadian itu, Will Smith meminta maaf atas perbuatannya dan mengundurkan diri sebagai anggota Academy.
Dalam sebuah talkshow bersama Trevor Noah di The Daily Show, Will Smith mengaku "mengalami sesuatu" malam itu.
Ia mengakui tindakannya saat itu adalah puncak dari emosi yang sempat dipendamnya.
