Nama BLACKPINK Dihapus dari Pengisi Acara K-ASIAN Festival, Fans Berpikir Ada Hubungannya dengan VMA

TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Nama BLACKPINK sebelumnya diumumkan sebagai pengisi acara di K-ASIAN Festival di Incheon bersama MAMAMOO, WINNER, HyunA, dan lainnya.

Namun sejak 30 Juli 2019, seperti yang diberitakan Koreaboo, nama BLACKPINK tak ada lagi dalam daftar.

BLINK mengira mundurnya BLACKPINK dari K-ASIAN Festival ada hubungannya dengan MTV Video Music Awards atau VMA 2019.

Meski begitu, belum ada konfirmasi langsung dari MTV dan YG Entertainment terkait hilangnya BLACKPINK dari daftar lineup performer.

Daftar nominasi MTV Video Music Awards 2019 telah diumumkan.

Di antara banyaknya daftar musisi Amerika, nama BTS muncul di beberapa kategori.

Dengan lagu mereka yang berjudul "Boy With Luv" feat Halsey, BTS mendapat nominasi untuk kategori "best collaboration."

BTS akan bersaing dengan Lil Nas X: “Old Town Road (Remix)” [ft. Billy Ray Cyrus], Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper - “Shallow”, Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - “Señorita”, Taylor Swift - “ME!” [ft. ft. Brendon Urie], dan Ed Sheeran/Justin Bieber - “I Don’t Care”.

Selain "best collaboration," BTS juga mendapat nominasi untuk kategori "best k-pop."

BTS bersaing dengan BLACKPINK - “Kill This Love”, Monsta X - “Who Do You Love” [ft. French Montana], TOMORROW X TOGETHER - “Cat & Dog”, NCT 127 - “Regular”, dan EXO - “Tempo”.

BTS juga meraih nominasi "Best Choreography" dan "Best Art Direction", sehingga BTS mendapatkan total 4 nominasi di MTV VMA 2019.

VMA tahun ini akan diselenggarakan pada 26 Agustus 2019 di Prudential Center di Newark, New Jersey, AS.
