Sedangkan Jorge Lorenzo menempati urutan ke 14 dalam Free Practice 1 ini.
Ia hanya mampu berada di urutan tersebut dengan torehan waktu 1 Menit 41.340 detik.
Sedangkan pembalap Movistar Energy Yamaha lainnya seperti Maverick Vinales berada jauh di posisi ke 18.
Pasalnya rekan satu tim dari Valentino Rossi tersebut hanya mampu mencatatkan waktu 1 menit 41.657 detik.
