Saat itu, member BLACKPINK sudah lengkap dengan member Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, dan Lisa.
Debut BLACKPINK pada 8 Agustus 2016 dengan album pertama 'Square One'.
Dalam album tersebut, terdapat lagu 'Boombayah', 'Whistle', 'Playing With Fire', 'Stay', dan 'As If It's Your Last'.
BLACKPINK semakin populer saat merilis single bertajuk 'As If It's Your Last' pada 22 Juni 2017.
Pada pertengah Oktober 2018, Jennie mengumumkan debut solo.
