TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences telah resmi mengumumkan nominasi Academy Awards ke-94 atau Piala Oscar.

Academy Awards tahunan ke-94 akan digelar di Dolby Theatre Hollywood di Los Angeles pada 27 Maret 2022, mendatang.

Untuk pertama kalinya dalam tiga tahun terakhir, Oscar 2022 akan diselenggarakan dengan pembawa acara.

Mengutip Variety, The Power of the Dog dari Netflix mendominasi Academy Awards dengan 12 nominasi, terbanyak dari semua film.

Diikuti dengan Dune, sebuah adaptasi luas dari novel fiksi ilmiah populer yang pernah diyakini tidak dapat difilmkan, mendapatkan 10 nominasi Oscar.

Melalui Belfast, Branagh menjadi orang pertama yang mendapatkan tujuh nominasi Oscar dalam tujuh kategori berbeda.
