TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Boy group asal Korea Selatan BTS berhasil membawa pulang tiga penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2021.

BTS dinobatkan sebagai pemenang untuk kategori Best K-pop dalam ajang MTV VMA 2021, Minggu (12/9/2021).

Mengutip dari Billboard.com, RM dkk mengucapkan terima kasihnya pada para ARMY (fans BTS, red).

Pidato tersebut disampaikan melalui video karena BTS tak bisa hadir secara langsung dalam acara tersebut.

Mengawali pidato kemenangannya.

Jungkook menambahkan, ia amat bersyukur dengan dukungan para ARMY tahun ini.

"Kami sangat diberkati dan berterima kasih atas semua cinta yang kami terima tahun ini," lanjut Jungkook.

"Shoutout to ARMY! Bersorak untuk ARMY!)."

"Kalian adalah orang-orang terbaik di dunia," timpal V.

BTS berjanji akan terus membawakan musik terbaik untuk ARMY.

"Kami akan terus membawakan musik yang bagus untuk kalian semua.

Masih dari Billboard.com, sebelum MTV VMA 2021 resmi dimulai, BTS juga meraih penghargaan selama pesta pra-pertunjukan.

BTS mendapatkan 25 juta suara, dan memenangkan kategori Video Music Award 2021 untuk grup tahun ini.

Selain itu, BTS memenangkan Song of the Summer untuk lagu populer mereka yang berjudul Butter.

Lagu tersebut telah berulang kali memuncaki 10 besar di Billboard Hot 100.
