Taylor Swift umumkan perilisan album terbaru bertajuk The Tortured Poets Department saat terima Grammy untuk best pop vocal album.

TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Taylor Swift meraih piala Grammy ke-13 nya pada Minggu (4/2/2024) malam waktu setempat, sambil memberikan kejutan untuk penggemar.
Dalam pidato kemenangannya untuk best pop vocal album untuk Midnights, Taylor Swift memberitahu rahasia yang sudah ia jaga selama dua tahun, USA Today melaporkan.
Taylor Swift akan segera merilis album terbarunya, atau album ke-11 pada 19 April 2024.
Album baru itu bertajuk “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Di saat yang sama, akun media sosial Taylor Swift juga mengunggah pengumuman perilisan album baru tersebut.
“All’s fair in love and poetry,” tulisnya dalam caption.
Taylor Swift telah dinominasikan 52 kali selama kariernya, ditambah 6 nominasi tahun ini yakni:
- "Anti-Hero," pop solo performance
- "Karma," pop duo/group performance
- "Anti-Hero," song of the year
- "Anti-Hero," record of the year

Taylor Swift tidak memenangkan lagu terbaik tahun ini (song of the year).
Billie Eilish lah yang memenangkan nominasi tersebut berkat balada Barbie-nya, "What was I made for?".
Taylor Swift juga tidak memenangkan record of the year atau pop solo performance.
Kedua penghargaan tersebut diberikan kepada "Flowers" karya Miley Cyrus dan merupakan Grammy pertama dan keduanya.
Sebelum pertunjukan primetime, nominasi penampilan duo/grup pop Swift dan Ice Spice juga tidak menang.
"Karma" kalah "Ghost In The Machine" dari Phoebe Bridgers dan SZA.
Kemenangan tersebut merupakan Grammy pertama Bridgers.
Namun, Taylor memenangkan penghargaan album of the year yang diumumkan di akhir acara.
