Adverbial clause ini digunakan untuk memisahkan dua independent clause yang memilik makna berlainan atau kontras.

9. Adverbs of Result

Jenis ini digunakan untuk mengetahui jawaban yang diawali kata why atau mengapa.

Contoh:

The kitten was so cute that I had to buy it.
