Tahun ini, MTV Movie & TV Awards berlangsung selama dua hari, yakni Minggu-Senin (16-17/5/2021) malam di the Palladium, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat.

Dilansir Entertaiment Weekly, ajang MTV Movie & TV Awards dipandu oleh komedian Nikki Glaser.

WandaVision mengumpulkan nominasi terbanyak dalam kategori program televisi.

Serial yang dibintangi oleh Elizabeth Olsen dan Paul Bettany ini berhasil membawa pulang empat piala sekaligus.

WandaVision mengalahkan Bridgerton (Netflix), Cobra Kai (Netflix), Emily in Paris (Netflix) dan The Boys (Amazon).

Sementara itu untuk kategori film, didominasi oleh Borat Subsequent Moviefilm dan Judas and the Black Messiah.

Selanjutnya untuk kategori Best Music Documentary, boy grup asal Korea Selatan BTS berhasil meraih gelar juara.

BTS mengalahkan dokumenter milik Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry hingga Taylor Swift: Miss Americana.
