Dalam video tersebut Justyn Vicky tengah latihan mengangkat barbel bersama seorang pengawas.

Namun sayangnya karena tak kuat mengangkap, barbel tersebut menimpa leher Vicky hingga patah dan kemudian buru-buru ditolong.

Pengawas sempat membantu mengangkat barbel namun tidak kuat. Baru seketika orang-orang di tempat latihan tersebut datang membantu mengangkat barbel.

Ketika mencoba berdiri setelah duduk, Justintidak mampu menahan beratnya beban barbel, menyebabkan dia terjatuh ke belakang dan besi barbel menekuk bagian belakang lehernya.

Dalam video, Justyn Vicky terlihat berusaha mendorong barbel agar terlepas dari lehernya.

Setelah kejadian tersebut, Justyn Vicky langsung dilarikan ke rumah sakit untuk menjalani operasi darurat, namun nyawanya tidak dapat diselamatkan.

Peristiwa tersebut terjadi pada 15 Juli 2023 lalu di tempat gym Justyn Vicky bekerja di The Paradise Bali.

Berawal dari Justyn yang ingin menjajal melakukan squat-press dengan barbel di pundaknya berakhir tragedi.

Insiden ini membuat Justyn mengalami patah leher dan kerusakan pada saraf vital yang menghubungkan jantung dan paru-paru.

Meski sempat dilarikan ke rumah sakit, tapi nyawa Justyn tidak tertolong usai operasi darurat.
